About

I'm a backend engineer based in Brussels. I started building Smarteaming in 2020 and have run it in production on my own ever since. From May 2024 to February 2026 I was CTO of Chain-Fi, where I built the identity platform and the vault infrastructure. I won the Conflux Summer Hackfest in 2025 and the Conflux Global Hackfest in 2026, and placed second at the Conflux AI Agent Hackathon in 2025.

I work mostly in TypeScript and Node.js, with MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB and Redis, deployed with Docker on Linux servers (DigitalOcean). What I do best is the part of a backend that has to be right: authentication, API access, multi-tenant data, jobs that run unattended.

A full-time remote backend role, ideally in developer infrastructure or identity. Smarteaming is stable and in light maintenance, so I'm available full-time. I also take fixed-scope contract work through my company, MBP Enterprises Ltd.
